Eric Brescia

Eric Brescia is an economist on the Macroeconomic and Housing Forecast Team in Fannie Mae’s Economic and Strategic Research Group. He leads a team responsible for producing monthly macroeconomic and housing market forecasts in addition to analyzing housing market and demographic trends. His team produces numerous external presentations, reports on economic and housing market conditions, and supports various Fannie Mae modeling and risk functions. Eric joined Fannie Mae in 2013.

Prior to Fannie Mae, Eric worked at the American Bankers Association, where his responsibilities included banking industry and regulatory analysis with a focus on mortgage markets. He has experience in business analytics functions, and, with interests in urban planning and land use policy, he has served on the Planning Commission of Manassas, Virginia, and the Housing Commission of Arlington, Virginia.

Eric has a B.A. in quantitative economics from Providence College and an M.A. in economics from George Mason University.
