Tim Komosa is an economist on the Multifamily Market Research Team in Fannie Mae’s Economic and Strategic Research Group. He is responsible for guiding a team of economists and researching and analyzing local economies and multifamily real estate markets to support Multifamily in improving and adapting their underwriting policies.
Prior to this position, Tim held both corporate and business unit roles at the company, spending 15 years providing research and analysis in the Multifamily business and nearly 10 years in corporate economics and strategy. He joined Fannie Mae in 2000.
Before joining Fannie Mae, Tim was a consultant at Capital Economics, an internal consultancy within Howrey LLP, a large law firm providing mergers and acquisition advice and antitrust litigation support. Prior to that role, he was a research assistant to Dr. Luke Froeb, the William C. Oehmig Professor in Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and emeritus at Vanderbilt University.
Tim has a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
