Maeve Maloney
Maeve Maloney is a research economist on the Foundational Research Team in Fannie Mae’s Economic and Strategic Research Group. Her work covers spatial trends in housing and real estate markets, focusing on the geographic dynamics of risk and return in the housing market, as well as multigenerational and cross-generational housing patterns. Maeve joined Fannie Mae in 2023.
Prior to her current role, Maeve worked as a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. During her graduate work at Syracuse University, Maeve taught introductory microeconomics and was a teaching assistant for financial and labor economics. She was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in 2021.
Maeve has a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in mathematics from Xavier University, an M.A. in economics from The University of Pittsburgh, and a Ph.D. in economics from Syracuse University.
