Eric Hardy

Eric Hardy is an economist on the Macroeconomic and Housing Forecast Team in Fannie Mae's Economic and Strategic Research Group. His work focuses on monetary policy and the mortgage market. Eric joined Fannie Mae in 2024.

Prior to his current role, Eric worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as a senior research assistant on topics related to real estate and the mortgage market.

Eric has a B.A in economics from Oberlin College and a Ph.D. in economics from Boston University, with a focus on macroeconomics and monetary policy.
