Elisa Spano is a Director on the Market Insights Team in Fannie Mae’s Economic and Strategic Research Group. She leads a team responsible for driving strategic leadership discussions and action via the collection and synthesis of market and customer data, as well as the strategy and development of end-to-end solutions to help the enterprise navigate Fannie Mae’s complex information landscape. Elisa has led cross-functional, enterprise-wide teams to develop and launch Fannie Mae’s closing costs calculator and its Research and Insights repository.
Since joining Fannie Mae in 2003, Elisa has held positions in Single-Family Strategy, Single-Family Sales Force Enablement, Single-Family Business Transformation, Business and Strategy Development, and eBusiness Market Research. Over her career, she led primary research projects across Fannie Mae’s suite of technology products, established standardized processes and sales collateral for the newly formed geographic sales regions following restatement, spearheaded the creation of Fannie Mae’s Customer Experience Survey, and developed the Voice of the Customer program for the Single-Family Business Account Management Solutions organization, for which her team was awarded the industry achievement in customer excellence award for innovation in CX.
Elisa has a B.A.in both biology and German language and literature from The University of Delaware and an M.B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
