Disaster Resiliency and Relief
We're here to help
Fannie Mae is committed to creating better outcomes for those facing or affected by disasters.
It’s our priority to support those we serve in times of need, and it’s central to our mission of ensuring access to safe, affordable housing.
With the frequency and severity of disasters affecting communities nationwide, we’re here to help—by partnering with housing stakeholders, by supporting homeowners and renters, and through volunteerism and giving.

Preparing, responding, and rebuilding
We can’t keep responding to disasters as usual. We have to prepare and innovate.
That’s why we focus on resiliency—the capacity to withstand and recover from disaster. For example, we offer mortgages that can finance resiliency upgrades or weather-resistant, modern manufactured housing.
Plus we offer disaster recovery counseling to provide eligible residents free personalized assistance if their home, job, or income are impacted so they can return to normal faster. Call 855-HERE2HELP (855-437-3243) to access our disaster recovery counseling.
And we engage with disaster-affected communities to forge partnerships, learn about local needs, and to take direct action like rebuilding homes through volunteerism.
