Katie O’Connell Jones is Fannie Mae’s Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer and serves as a member of Fannie Mae’s Management Committee.
Jones is responsible for developing the HR strategy that enables Fannie Mae to meet its strategic goals and oversees the company’s HR function. She leads enterprise human capital strategy and planning, succession planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development, workforce analytics and technology, and HR risk and operations.
Most recently, Jones was Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at PRA Group, a global financial services firm with approximately 5,000 employees and clients and customers across 18 countries.
Previously, she held Senior Vice President positions at SunTrust Bank, AIG, and Crestar Bank. In these roles, she led national and global HR functions responsible for all aspects of Human Capital Strategy, HR Communications, plus extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and organizational efficiency and productivity.
