Terry Edwards is Fannie Mae's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, he has enterprise-wide oversight and execution responsibility for all corporate initiatives including resource and budget allocation. He also leads Fannie Mae's foreclosure prevention and loss mitigation activities for its single-family book of business. In this capacity, he oversees the Making Home Affordable program, our Real Estate Asset Management (REAM) and loss mitigation activities, the collection and preservation of credit enhancements, and our servicing guidelines and policies.
Formerly, Mr. Edwards was Fannie Mae’s Executive Vice President - Credit Portfolio Management. Prior to that, Mr. Edwards was President and CEO of PHH Corporation, one of the nation's top ten mortgage servicers, where he served for nearly three decades in a variety of executive roles.
Mr. Edwards holds a Master's degree from Loyola College and received his undergraduate degree from Iona College.
